Late Fall & WINTER 2013 AND 2014 TRAVEL
JUST FOR THE RECORD, Ray and I spent Thanksgiving Weekend in Austin, Texas. We stayed at the Four Seasons hotel which had a great local bar with live music on the weekends. We visited
friends from home who spend their Winter in Austin, Alice and David Glass.
WE spent Christmas 2013 in St Cloud Florida with our kids. Stayed at Dave and Kait's new home there with them and Julie, our 22 year old daughter ( now 23!) and Ryan Sanders, Kait's brother
who lives and studies in Boston. We had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday there together.
We came home on the 26th, then drove up to Vaudreuil, Quebec, where Ray's brother Jean and his wife, Line live. We had a family dinner there with about 15 close family members, including Ray's 92 year old mom, Angele.
A few days after we returned, I got on a plane for Dallas, Texas to go to the Jazz Educators Network
(JEN) annual conference. Fabulous. It's music and seminars about music all day and night for 3 days.
Several friends from my local jazz community were there, and some Berklee friends too.
JAn. 31st to Feb. 3rd we spent at the ESTEREL RESORT in Quebec for Rays Porsche Winter driving school.... Quite a winter wonderland, and Ray Loved it!!!
Feb. 15 to 17th we took the grandparents to ORLANDO to visit Dave and Kait. Ritz Hotel.
Chef's tasting dinner event at the hotel. Dinner at WAVE, DAves restaurant at Disney and a swim in the hotel pool with Harry. Also a visit to Dave and Kait's home in St Cloud and a lovely lunch in their dining room....
Feb 25th to 27th was at Tucker Point resort in BERMUDA for Rays board meeting. I enjoyed the spa there and shopping at the Max Mara store in Hamilton.
Then the big March trip to South America. Departure on March 7th.
